Attorney Casey P. Mullen
Attorney Casey P. Mullen is a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, and after graduating from Pittsburgh Central Catholic he chose to stay in Pittsburgh to obtain his higher education. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Duquesne University, and also attended Duquesne’s School of Law.
While in law school, Casey excelled in the classroom, as well as the courtroom. He graduated in the top five percent of his class and served as an Executive Editor of Criminal Procedure for the Duquesne Law Review. Casey was the recipient of many academic honors, including but not limited to, being named the top overall student by the law school facility. He was also the recipient of the Honorable Joseph Ridge Award given by the Allegheny Bar Association. Casey was a member of Duquesne’s Trial Competition Team, representing the school in trial competition in Buffalo, Dallas and Philadelphia. Additionally, Casey served as a research assistant to Professor Bruce Antkowiak, assisting in the publishing of "Pennsylvania Criminal Procedure: Elements, Analysis, Application."
Casey had the privilege to work as an associate with the Blackwell Law Firm. While at the Blackwell Law Firm, Casey represented clients during all stages of litigation. Casey gained invaluable experience representing clients in family law, civil law and criminal law. His employment at The Blackwell Law Firm afforded him the opportunity to represent clients before magisterial justices, and in the Courts of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Beaver County, Butler County, Lawrence County, Washington County, and Westmoreland County. Additionally, Casey has successfully represented clients before the Superior Court of this Commonwealth and in Federal Criminal Court. Casey has also worked in the litigation group of Burns White, LLC.
Casey is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the America Bar Association.
In his spare time, Casey is very social and active. He enjoys running, reading, spending time with family and even attempts to play the game of golf. Casey also volunteers his time serving on the Board of Directors of The Center for Spirituality.
